The Rosary Society is composed of women of the parish whose objective is to promote devotion to Our Blessed Mother and to nurture spiritual growth. This is done through devotion to the rosary, First Saturday devotion and other feasts in honor of Our Blessed Mother. Assistance to the parish is also given whenever necessary, particularly in regard to the care of the church. As representatives of Our Blessed Mother and the Catholic Church, the ladies of the Rosary Society, also known as Rosarians, conduct themselves at all times and in all places in a manner befitting the life and example of Our Blessed Mother.
Monthly meetings are structured around prayer and catechesis followed by discussion about projects, and all in a comfortable and social atmosphere with refreshments. Some projects include fundraisers such as bake sales and Communion Breakfasts, which are solely to support the Rosary Society. Other projects are solely charitable such as the Pro-Life baby shower to assist unwed mothers shelters. Still other fundraisers support both the Rosary Society as well as other charitable organizations.
Meetings are held on the first Saturday of the month, except July, at 10:00 AM in the Senior Room. Annual dues are $10.00. For more information, please contact the Rectory.
